Tips on how to use the Stroketrainer
To use the Stroketrainer, keep your hand against the
guide plate. Stroke in a nice slow motion without stopping like I am
doing in the above video.
Place two rubber bands as shown
Place two rubber bands on the guide post and set
to the height of the cue ball. You can move to different settings
for top or bottom English. (Comes with both sets of post for
right and left hand.)
For best resultsTo practice with the
StrokeTrainer, put a piece of paper between your stroke hand and the
guide plate. Make sure that your wrist is straight!
Do not let the paper fall,
this will insure that your hand is where it needs to be all the
time.
Do three sets of (50) strokes a day, right and
left handed. “making sure that you keep your hand against the
guide plate”
Try to do this in a slow stroke without stopping like i am doing
in the banner above, to help train the muscle memory in your stroke
arm.
Stroke about two inches through the guides without touching.
You must keep your stroke hand against the back
guide while you are stroking for this to help.
This will also train you to hold your wrist straight, and will
help stop you from twisting it when you shoot.
Without touching the guide post or the rubber bands, you will
have a steadier bridge hand while training your mind and eye to
focus on what you are aiming at.
Practice Shooting Balls
You can use the Stroketrainer to practice shooting
balls, but one thing I can say: You have to be lined up perfect to
do this or you will miss!
Learn to shoot with both hands!
